FESTIVE GREETINGS FROM THE FAI, FONDO AMBIENTE ITALIANO

Once again this year, GranitiFiandre S.p.A is renewing its personal commitment in supporting the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI - National Trust of Italy) by signing up as a Corporate Golden Donor as part of its corporate membership programme.

Thanks to the support of companies and people, the FAI has been able to preserve and manage more than 50 assets across the country over the past 40 years. Our country has a wealth of natural and cultural heritage, blessed with many sites of historical, artistic and natural interest. GranitiFiandre S.p.A. shares the idea that the riches of our lands constitute a vitally important piece of our national heritage and therefore wishes to help protect and celebrate these priceless assets, which make up our history and our origins, risking of being lost forever. Every day the FAI undertakes to protect and make available to everyone masterpieces of art, nature and culture scattered throughout the rural areas, towns and coasts of our country, representing the concerns of civil society, watching over and actively intervening in local areas.

In order to raise our collective awareness we must understand that our surroundings must be respected and celebrated because they represent an important part of our shared identity. Over the centuries, our sites have undergone numerous transformations by the local populations, who adapted those that were originally natural and wild territories.

For these festivities, GranitiFiandre S.p.A. hopes that its contribution will increasingly influence more and more collaboration in promoting and keeping alive this project, in order to protect the places we love now and their future.
